UltraDefrag is a very powerful disc defrag tool for Windows written in C language. It works extraordinarily quickly, and has three different interfaces: graphic (it lets you see zone maps), console (ideal for preprogramming tasks), and native (for advanced users and programmers).
The UltraDefrag design is optimized to the maximum: there are no skins, nor locators, nor any type of animation. This makes it very small and very controllable. It is completely free (distributed under a GNU licence) and works with all Windows platforms from 2000 and after. It can generate HTML reports and can apply filters.
