The Way of The Empty Hand is a fight game with a retro feel based on karate, in which there are no jumps across the screen, fireballs, etc, just pure fighting.

Your aim in The Way of The Empty Hand is to convert your fighter (at white belt) to a black belt karate champion and 10th Dan. You fight to gain points: as you progress you win higher belts. The higher the belt the stronger you get.

The matches are without time limits or rounds, and the winner is the one who KO´s his opponent.

When selecting and starting to create your fighter, you must establish their attributes like toughness, power and status, letting you also choose the basic moves to start with. The points you win can be used to train your fighter to get more new moves, etc.
