PingTrace is a tool to send pings and locate Internet host routes. The program has a direct Windows exit in place of using command line utilities ping.exe and tracert.exe. PingTrace is a network tool that checks the communications of remote PCs. The ping utility sends packets to a remote PC and waits for an answer, measuring the time between petition and answer from the remote traceroute PC.
PingTrace lets you change and store command line parameters directly from configuration dialogues, and can specify: if it can trace the IP address to a legible hostname, the number of packets sent, the timeout (how much time to wait for an answer), the size of the ping, etc.
PingTrace is free and hardly consumes resources.
