Cube 2 is the second generation of the game of the same name. It is a free 3D game in first person, like Quake or Doom, with very good graphics and a well-created ambience. For this the graphics engine works with OpenGL and SDL, and benefits greatly from it, getting great lighting, and good visual effects (shots, shading, explosions...).

The game mode can be one player, in which you fight against computer-controlled monsters, or in multiplayer, which is where these games win many fans. For this the program has an automatic server searcher to make finding other players easy, although you can play on a local network.

The icing on the cake is a map editor so you can prolong the enjoyment.
