ComPresto 1.0 is a simple and elegant compressor which, more than an alternative to other compressors, is more a complement for WinZip and WinRar, because although it has fewer options than them and doesn´t compress as well as them, it offers a higher compression level with .COM files.

In other words, it is recommendable to use it when you have to compress very large .COM files. They will be much more compressed than using WinZip or WinRar (which are recommended for use with any other type of file).
