Alternate EXE Packer is a program that packs EXE runnable files and DLL libraries, so that they can unpack themselves on their own when itīs time to run them.

The advantage of this system is that the files you pack with Alternate EXE Packer donīt need the program to unpack, which makes it easier to send or distribute them on the web. The user interface is very simple: you only have one button to open the file you want, another to compress or decompress, and finally an option to select the compression ratio.

Alternate EXE Packer is a completely free tool that takes up very little space on your hard drive: just under one megabyte.
